• We are a certified Amber Center, the only one in the greater Eau Claire or Chippewa Valley area.  We utilize state-of-the-art Amber soft/strip waxing technology assuring our clients a gentler, more comfortable form of waxing that is totally hygienic with zero risk of cross contamination.  PhD wax means Professional Hygienic and Disposable waxing system--we care enough to protect our clients' health. 

• We take safety and sanitation very seriously at River Rock.  You'll never see us using short cut techniques like double dipping (an illegal practice that may spread infection or disease).  Our staff always uses disposable gloves for all waxing services for all clients.  To protect our clients, we use disposable barriers and disinfect our treatment area prior to and after each service so you know you won't be exposed to anyone else's germs.

• We offer both hard (stripless) wax and soft (strip) wax treatments and never upcharge for hard wax use.

• We utilize a fixed pricing method for our waxing clients not a low base price with "and up" charges.  You'll know exactly what your cost is BEFORE the treatment and not have an expensive surprise after your service.  Our current price list can be found under our frequently asked questions button.  We consider your continued patronage gratuity enough and so we don't expect or accept tips.  If you feel you must do something for us in exchange for great service tell your friends about us!  Being a tip-free zone is another way River Rock helps you spend less and get more.

• Our staff is made up of waxing specialists, unlike some facilities, everyone at River Rock is an excellent waxer with advanced waxing training.  Because we have more then one specialist, we can accommodate your treatment needs and schedule including concurrent appointments if you want to come at the same time as a friend.

• We offer hair removal treatments by appointment to accommodate your schedule.  Appointments times are available from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Fridays, and Saturdays.  Please call ahead to schedule an appointment or free consultation.  While we realize hair emergencies do occur, we rarely have same-day appointments.  Please plan ahead if at all possible and have your personal schedule handy when you call.

• As we commonly have clients from all over Northern Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota, extended treatment sessions are available for clients you won't need multiple appointments for a full body wax at River Rock.
